Rick Shoch, JD
Rick is a native of the Susquehanna Valley, having been born and raised in Sunbury, PA. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and The Widener School of Law in Delaware.
Prior to returning to the Susquehanna Valley in 2002, Rick spent 12 years working in the investment management and financial services industry in Philadelphia and New York City. He served as a Vice President in the legal departments of SEI Corporation and Morgan Stanley, a global asset management firm.
Rick has a general law practice focused primarily on Business Law, Trust and Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning and Municipal Law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He serves as solicitor for several municipalities and municipal authorities and has served in elected public office, most notably as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Northumberland County.
Rick resides in Sunbury with his wife, Paula, and their four children, Natalie, Lily, Eric and Brady. He has been active in his community over the years, serving on the Boards of several non-profit community organizations, including Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc., The Susquehanna Valley Arc, the Arc of Pennsylvania, The Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project, the Northumberland County Conservation District and the Local Elected Officials Board of the Central PA Workforce Development Corporation.
